The SHRM Learning System Formats for the PHR® & SPHR® Exam
The SHRM® Learning System provides a proven training program through a blended format of printed workbooks, learning software and web-based study tools designed to enhance your effectiveness.
  1. Certified Expert instructors who are guided through the SHRM® Learning System, PowerPoint slides and the Participant Guide to assure the highest teaching quality
  2. Six printed modules based on the HRCI body of knowledge tested in PHR® and SPHR® exams
  3. CD-ROM so you can work through review questions at your convenience
  4. Glossary of key terms and a subject index for each module
  5. The SPHR® Preparation Book, designed specifically for SPHR® candidates, focuses on the strategic thinking approach of the SPHR exam
Duration:
18 weeks, 102 hours of in-class training, 2 days per week, 3 hours per lecture.

Pre-requisites:
For PHR: 
  • 1 year HR experience with Master’s degree
  • 2 years HR experience with Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years HR experience with less than Bachelor’s degree
For SPHR:
  •  4 years HR experience with Master’s degree
  • 5 years HR experience with Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 years HR experience with less than Bachelor’s degree
Exam Information :
The Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) exams are both conducted in Kuwait, at a Prometric center. They are based on US laws, regulations and practices and are generalist in nature. They differ in terms of focus and the cognitive level of questions. PHR® covers topics at an operational/technical level, whereas SPHR questions tend to be more at the strategic and/or policy level.
